We’ve had a look at all of the major colour trends of 2023, and we’ve put together a list which we think will remain on trend for the next few years.
1. Warm Earthy tones
Earthy tones will make any spaces feel safe, calming and grounded. When we pull inspiration from the great outdoors into our homes, magic happens. Colours like taupe, emerald green, olive green, brown, burnt orange and dusty pink almost never go out of style and can be incorporated into most interiors, whether it be minimalist, maximalist, classic or art deco.
2. Dark Blues
Blue has always been a go-to for winter decor. Blue has the quality of being both soothing and invigorating and offers plenty of design versatility Pairing blue with black will create an intimate space while pairing it with white will create an open, refreshing space.
3. Empowering pinks
We know decorating with pink is not for everyone, but maybe this will be the year you’ll experiment with the colour in your home. It may seem childish or maximalist, but if done right, adding pinks like scarlet, baby pink or cerise will add a new dimension to your interiors.
With Viva Magenta revealed as Pantone’s Color of the Year 2023, expect to see rich, deep pinks with elegant red and purple undertones used across the interior design world and, hopefully, in your home too!
